About me

I am an imaginative writer and problem-solver with a facility for translating highly technical concepts into layman’s terms.

I have been a technical communications specialist in the IT industry since 1996. My conceptual skills and commitment to precision in technical writing have earned special recognition for both my employers/clients and myself.  I earned a reputation as a “Swiss Army Knife” for versatility and know-how derived from a diverse background—from a life sciences curriculum at Cornell University to graphic design and writing.

My technical writing experience includes structuring, writing, editing, and creating templates for end-user software manuals,  process and procedure manuals, and other technical documents. Additionally I have developed corporate documentation standards and style guides, and have produced Section 508-compliant documentation for the National Cancer Institute.
